Ocean Bank

A cold breeze that passed by my right cheek made me return from my thoughts to the reality where the blue ocean water was sparkling like tiny pieces of diamond in front of me…infancy of the sun was much of a disappointment as it could not kill the cold that the waves were forcing on the shore…the dawn always brings a serene calmness to one’s soul filled with excitement of a new beginning and hope to make the journey ahead a most worthwhile experience.
I have always loved my beach house as it is the place filled with tranquility and peace that one cannot bargain for anywhere else in the world…the cheerful voice of the waves always speak to me as and in a tone that it feels like healing your psych…it is an amusing piece of enchanting music to my ears. The sound of my own footsteps on the wooden floor never let me feel the solitude that I choose for myself. The small staircase lay ahead of the main entrance is my counselor…its where all my brainstorming sessions take place…like the one I was facing now. Life is like a staircase in a way…when you go up, you should remember that you will have to walk down…and vice versa.
A slow walk on the beach with moist sand under our feet could be one of the most fascinating experiences of our lives. I could relate it to one of the teachings of my spiritual mentor who once said that our life should be like a walk on the beach where you are walking calmly in the direction where no hurdles lay in front of you…all the commotion of the materialistic world (represented by the ocean and its roaring waves) should lay besides you to remind you your blessings that you are not the part of the commotion as you walk devotedly towards your ultimate goal.
Love n Laughter…Fun n Frolic can never be separated from the ocean bank…you can get to see the real and genuine feelings and expressions on the countenance of the people who visit this place…a child running fearlessly ahead of his sibling with a throw ball in his hands…a couple indulging in one of the most romantic moments of their lives…an old man who may not have many achievements to boost off but thanks the Almighty each morning for blessing him with the most happy life and now to bless him with a happy farewell from his near and dear ones…a cheerful group of teenage friends who wish to live their togetherness thoroughly and to keep the memories of this time in their hearts to bring a sweet nostalgic smile on their faces when they disperse to join the race of survival and glory.
On the shore, few steps away from the sparking blue water, I sit here neither to go back through the memory lane nor to worry about what more lessons will my teacher teach me now…Is not life a teacher for all of us? I sit in front of this ocean to live the moment that i have got…to cherish the joy that I feel here…To be with myself.
