It amazes me - you are such a paradox

You are a curious cat but you are my best mate

Drives, bathes and closed doors - you surely hate

You make my heart skip a beat

Snuggle while sleep is always a treat

You make me happy, you change me every day

You are naughty and bossy but a charmer in every way

I always felt - I am so out of love

You shattered my belief and I learnt it tough

Every time you fell sick, my heart ached

Every prick of needle seemed too much to take

As we bonded, all my doubts faded

I am so glad that we finally made it

You came in my life and swept me off my feet
